Backyard Fall Wedding at New York Estate
The crisp and clear day was perfect for a backyard fall wedding in New York. On the property, the dining tent was being set up and caterers from New York City were unloading the feast. Inside, Emma and her closest friends were getting ready in the main house, some catching glimpses of the model-like staff out the bedroom's window. Her sister, Lilly, was the Maid of Honor. Friends and family stopped in to say hello with warm hugs and laughter. Just across the yard was Drew, getting ready in the carriage house with his closest friends. His dad, Tom, was the Best Man.
An easy drive from New York City, Bedford Hills is a quick escape into a mountain town, ripe with restaurants and quaint communities that you’d find in Upstate New York or the back roads of New England. It’s proximity to New York City makes it an ideal location for a quiet and private New York wedding. We were so fortunate to be able to spend a few days exploring this lovely town and photograph the wedding day.
Down a gravel driveway lined by decades-old stonewall the wedding was tucked away on a friend’s private estate. Emma and Drew celebrated their love together dancing the night away with their closest, fueled by a live band and cool fall air. Not a single person was off the dance floor. It was only fitting that the enthusiasm carried all the way until sending the couple off into the night with sparklers and cheers.
